But how new?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Some activities that should be the same:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;Wake up, eat meals, and go to bed at the same time you did when working. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Incorporate the same job working activities for example shower and dress for work every morning. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The work day is 8 hours. The job hunting day should be no more than 8 hours. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Have an office to go to. This could be at the library or a place in your home. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;No work at night or on the weekends. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;Some activites that may be different:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;Pray by going to place of worship for services during the week. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Exercise. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Eat right. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Get plenty of sleep.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;You are doing great! And when it arrives you will feel many different emotions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My suggestion is to give no more than &lt;span style="TEXT-DECORATION: underline"&gt;one&lt;/span&gt; day to your personal pity party without alcohol or drugs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The healing process from this loss will take time. And it is OK to take brief no more than five minute parties along the way.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you spend too much energy dwelling on it the following will happen:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;Energy will not be spent on job hunting or pursuing a career change.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;You will overtax you support group. They are saints to listen to it the first 10 times.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;You will start to define yourself by it. You are more than a job loss.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Other people will start to define you by it.
